About Me
Experienced. Compassionate. Supportive.
I’m Dianne Hollingworth (MBACP Dip.Couns) offering Relationship Counselling for couples; help with anxiety, stress, relationships and loss, for individuals and young adults.
My approach is Person-Centred and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy based, but I can also offer creative therapy to assist with issues that are sometimes difficult to express verbally.
I am qualified with a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, a Cognitive Behaviour Therapy Practitioner Certificate, Life Coach certificate and Couple's Counselling CPD. I have worked with young people for over 20 years and adults for several years and have previously been a qualified complementary therapist for 10 years.
My work has always been connected to helping and encouraging people, from working for the police to supporting students in education.
I abide by the ethical framework set by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and am a registered member of this organisation. I am also fully insured, have an experienced supervisor and regularly update my Continuing Professional Development profile.
I create and offer various workshops for small groups such as Understanding Panic, Work-Life Balance, Writing from the Heart and Personal Development for self-awareness.
Let me work with you so you can learn and develop better ways to handle the issues that are standing in the way of being happy.
